Fire-wise designs
Rebuilding after wildfire comes with unique challenges—and opportunities. At ZMLA, we specialize in fire-wise landscape architecture that protects your home while restoring beauty and a sense of peace to your property.
Our approach combines California-native, drought-tolerant plants with thoughtful placement and design strategies that reduce fire risk and support long-term resilience. We carefully consider defensible space, plant spacing, and material selection to help safeguard your home without sacrificing design.
Whether you’re rebuilding after loss or looking to better protect your property, our goal is to create safe, sustainable landscapes that thrive in California’s climate.
